Penn Yan – Bryan A. Tam, 55, of Route 54, Penn Yan, NY, passed away on Wednesday (March 18, 2020) at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY, with loved ones by his side

A Memorial Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Waterloo, NY and a celebration of life will be held at a later date & time to be announced. There will be no prior calling hours.

Bryan was born in Santa Rosa, California on October 29, 1964 the son of Eugene Tam & the late Phyllis (Robertson) Tam. Bryan had resided in Waterloo & Penn Yan since 1998, moving from Florida. He was currently employed as meat manager for Tops Market in Seneca Falls. He, also, had worked for Tops Market in Penn Yan and Canandaigua. Bryan had a lifetime passion as a billiard player having been involved with many pool leagues and tournaments throughout the area. Bryan also enjoyed his game of golf at golf courses like Silver Creek & Big Oak.

2 daughters – Mackenzie Tam – Waterloo, NY
Lauren Tam-Rudolph – Florida
His father & step-mother – Eugene & Faith Tam – Waterloo, NY
3 sisters – Shelley (Mark Eversole) Tam – Florida
Christine (Anthony) Vlachos –Pennsylvania
Michelle (Daniel Dressing) Hall – Waterloo, NY
1 brother – Brendt (Shelli) Tam – Waterloo, NY
His father-in-law – Gordon Clough Sr. –Waterloo, NY
3 brothers-in-laws– Jason Clough - Waterloo, NY
Jeff Clough - Waterloo, NY
Gordon Clough Jr - Clifton Springs, NY
1 sister-in-law –

Several amazing friends including 2 very special friends who helped Dawn with his care, Chuck Hewlett and Mike Roulan & also his many friends at Vonnies Boathouse.

MY condolences to the family of Brien . I am a vendor for the Tops stores. Brien was a great guy and always made me laugh. You will be missed Brien. Hope you are playing golf and pool as you always loved those two sports. RIP my friend.

I used to play pool in a league with Brian at upper deck what a great guy ! I remember hating to play against him cause he was so darn good at pool lol condolences to all his family 🙏 he will be missed

My brother will be missed forever. He had a kind heart, was great with jokes and was a pool shark and loved the game of golf. He loved his kids, friends and family. Love, your big sis Shellaroon.
