Mark was a wonderful man, very respectful and kind. Many years ago when my grandmother was alive, she would take my grandfather's Goulds Pumps paycheck, turn it over and sign the back of the paycheck with an "X".My father Chester or my brother John would then take the paycheck to Mark's red and white grocery store and cash it with a simple "X" as the signature. We have lost a wonderful person,so beloved by so many.Rest in peace Mark.

I only spent time with Mark once. That time felt like we were old friends. I guess Mark was like that.

Never did I imagine the last time I saw you was the last time I would see you. You were our patriarch and I was so looking forward to toasting to your 90 years when you came back to Seneca Falls this summer. Thank you for the memories, you will always live on in my heart. Love, your niece, Marilyn
PS: Give mom and dad a hug for me.
