Seneca Falls - Vincent J. DiPasquale, 89, of Sackett St., Seneca Falls, NY passed away on Tuesday (May 5) at Rochester General Hospital.
Due to recommendations concerning COVID-19, funeral services and burial in St. Columbkille Cemetery (Seneca Falls) will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior calling hours with a memorial mass held at a later date.
If desired, contributions can be made to St. Francis-St. Clare Parish, 25 Center St., Waterloo, NY 13165.
Vincent was born on August 6, 1930 in Waterloo, NY to the late Joseph and Anna (DelPapa) DiPasquale. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in the Korean War and later retired from the Seneca Army Depot. He was a member of St. Francis-St. Clare Parish and was a man of strong faith and loved his family unconditionally. He was a member of the Waterloo American Legion Post #435 and the Waterloo VFW Post #6433, where he enjoyed spending time with his many close friends. He loved fishing, spending time outdoors, feeding the ducks at Oak Island, but especially loved having family around at Sunday dinners.
He is survived by his wife Rita (Pluretti) DiPasquale, whom he married on September 30, 1961. 1 son – Steve (Dawn) DiPasquale of Spencerport, NY. 2 daughters – Joanne (John) Benedicks of Waterloo, NY and Diane (Jeremy) Judge of Clay, NY. Five grandchildren – Jessica (Brenden Dauber) and Julia Benedicks, Jordan and Justin DiPasquale and Cooper Judge. As well as his brother in laws and sister in laws Elio (Betty) Pluretti and Suzanne (Bruno) Nicolini. Along with several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother Ralph (Francis) DiPasquale, Pauline (Louis) Zanche, Elizabeth (James) Williams, Antoinette DiPasquale, his twin sister, who died as an infant and one nephew, Robert Zanche.
