John "Jack" P. Churchill, Jr.

August 26, 1951 — November 13, 2023

Seneca Falls

John (Jack) P. Churchill Jr., 72, passed quietly after losing his battle with cancer on November 13, 2023.  A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Fetch A Friend Rescue, 92 Garden St. Seneca Falls, NY 13148, in Jack's memory.

Jack, as he was known to his family and friends, was the eldest son of the late John P. Churchill and Mary Clare Churchill, born in Seneca Falls, NY on August 26, 1951.  He is survived by his brother, Steve (Valerie) Churchill and sister, Cathy Ardoline; nieces, Mary Ardoline, Jessica Churchill, Jamie (Chris) Lyon, Jennifer (John) Kalenian; nephew, Joshua (Ashley) Churchill; many cousins, grand nieces and nephews and his uncle, James "Jim" L. Clare.

Jack loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.  Woodworking was also a passion and like his dad, he could repair most anything. He was able to put his skills to work during the decades he spent working at the Seneca Knitting Mill.  His compassion for others was expressed during the years he volunteered as an EMT at North Seneca Ambulance. Jack was a quiet man but had made many good friends over the years. He will be truly missed by all of us who knew and loved him. His final days found him on the lands of our Old Ancestral Farm, the Durkin Farm, and when he passed, we are certain that Jack's Great-Great-Uncle Frank, the last of the Farm Folks, was there to greet him with open arms.
