Alexis C. Duell

Alexis "Alex" C. Duell, 23, of Waterloo, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 21st, 2023 at her home. All services are to be held at the convenience of the family. Lexi, as she was known by her family and close friends, was a very special person who had a big heart. She had a love of animals, anime, and stand up comedy, with her favorite comedian being Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias. She loved to cook and had recently taken an interest in gardening. Alex was a very gifted artist who enjoyed drawing and painting. Her personality really shined around her family and those she cared for, and she adored spending time with her nieces. She will be dearly missed.

Alex is survived by her parents, Robert and Shearae (Law) Duell; brother, Dylan (fiancé, Tabitha Wilson) Law; sister, Caitlyn (Hunter Sebastiano) Duell; maternal aunt, Shauna (fiancé, Gary Goodman) Riccione; paternal aunts, April Vandusen, Lori (Roger) Bush, Pam (Tony) Brooks; paternal uncles, David Duell, Erik Jensen; beloved nieces, Kylah Duell, Sophia and Raelynn Law; adored cat, Kit Kat; and many extended family and friends. She was predeceased by great-grandmother, Marjie Conley; grandparents, David and Sue Duell; grandmother, Sue Bischoff; uncle, Donnie VanCleef; aunt, Denise Duell.
