Seneca Falls - Angelika Russo, 58, of Seneca Falls, passed away after a long illness, Friday,( April 1, 2016) at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY. Family and friends may call at Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY, on Thursday, (April 7, 2016) from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 7:00 PM with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, Officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. If desired, contributions may be sent to Seneca Humane Society, Inc. c/o Mary Kelly Black 26 Center St., Seneca Falls, NY 13148 Angelika was born on January 7, 1958, in Beratzhausen, Germany, the daughter of Johann Igl and Maria Feihl Igl. After meeting and marrying her husband, she relocated to Seneca Falls in 1988. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church. Angelika was employed at Fleischmanns Vinegar in North Rose, NY where she was a Customer Service Representative. She liked gardening, and enjoyed arts and crafts. She loved to bake Christmas Cookies that had that "secret German recipe". She also enjoyed her entertainment TV shows and loved her family. Angelika is survived by: Her Husband of almost 32 years; Daniel Russo, Seneca Falls, NY 1 - Daughter - Erika (Jon) Queen, Pittsburgh, PA Her Mother - Maria Feihl, Germany 1 - Brother - Johann (Frieda) Igl, Germany 1 - Sister - Rosemarie (Albrecht Dinauer) Nutz, Germany Several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many friends Angelika is predeceased by her father, Johann Igl.
