Angelina D (D'Agostino) Nucci
April 23, 1916 — December 21, 2020
Waterloo: Passed away on Monday, December 21st, 2020 at Huntington Living Center in Waterloo at the age of 104. Calling Hours will be Sunday, December 27th from 2-5 PM at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard Street, Seneca Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, December 28th at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls. Interment to follow at St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls.
Born in Geneva, NY, the daughter of the late John and Lucia (Mastrogiacomo) D'Agostino, she lived all her life in the Geneva/Seneca Falls area. Anybody who knew Angelina, knew she had a zest for life and family. Family was top priority for her, a woman who always had a smile on her face, and she most certainly "didn't sweat the little things in life." When asked what her secret to her longevity in life was, she would attribute it to all of the pasta she ate over the years. Angelina was known as an excellent Italian cook, and she enjoyed cooking for all family. Including herself, she was blessed to have 5 generations of family all living at the same time. She retired from Sylvania in Seneca Falls, and later she and her husband, Sebastian, housed veterans that were in need. One who was always smiling, she will be greatly missed by many of the staff at Huntington Living Center, where she called home for over 10 years.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Sebastian Nucci; 3 brothers and 4 sisters; son, Anthony Nucci; daugher-in-law Gladys Nucci; son-in-law, Charles Ellis; great-granddaughter, Angela Marie Nucci; and great-grandson, Jeremy Ellis. Survived by her daughter, Anna Marie Ellis; grandchildren, Charles (Sandra) Ellis Jr., Cheryl (John) DeMillo, Stephen (Judy) Ellis, Daniel Ellis, Thomas Ellis, Samuel F. Nucci, A. John Nucci, Ricardo Nucci; 14 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
