Seneca Falls - Angelo Michael Tamburrino, 84, formerly of Bridge St., Seneca Falls, NY, died Sunday (October 28, 2012) at Huntington Living Center, Waterloo, NY. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls on Thursday (November 1) from 4 - 7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday (November 2) at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. If desired, contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church, c/o St. Patrick's Church Office, 25 Center St., Waterloo, NY 13165. The Kirk-Casey Post #366 American Legion will conduct military honors at the funeral home on Thursday evening at 7 PM. Angelo was born in Seneca Falls, NY on April 27, 1928 the son of the late Cataldo & Paola Carmella Massaro Tamburrino. He had resided in Seneca Falls for most of his life, living 19 years in Auburn, NY. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. He was retired from the former Seneca Army Depot, Romulus, NY and, also, had been employed by the former Sylvania Electric of Seneca Falls. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, the Kirk-Casey Post #366 American Legion, Seneca Falls, and the United Steelworkers Union. Angelo enjoyed music, especially Opera and he loved to travel. He was an avid walker who could be seen every day on his 3 mile walk through Seneca Falls. Most of all, Angelo was a real family man who enjoyed just being around all his family. He is survived by: His wife, Madeline Thurston Tamburrino of Seneca Falls, whom he married on March 11, 1950. 1 daughter - Jeannie (Frank) Henderson - Auburn, NY/Abingdon, Virginia 3 sons - Daniel (Judy) Tamburrino - Auburn, NY Richard (Patricia) Tamburrino - Auburn, NY Robert Tamburrino - Auburn, NY 10 grandchildren - Zachary & Aaron (Patricia) Tamburrino, Stacy (Michael) DeForrest, Julie (Sam) White, Robert Tamburrino Jr., Jennifer (James) Dadabbo, Victoria Tamburrino, Michael Tamburrino, Candace Henderson, & Collin Henderson. 10 Great Grandchildren Several nieces and nephews In addition to his parents, Angelo was predeceased by 1 sister, Rose Trotta, & 2 brothers, Frank & Vito Tamburrino.
