Anita Fitzgerald died Sunday December 27, 2020 at Huntington Living Center. A private funeral service will be held Saturday January 2 for the family.
Anita was born December 31, 1923 in Seneca Falls to Americo and Teresa Avveduti. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Seneca Falls. She was active in the SMS being Auxiliary President and Advocate. She was active within other civic organizations, and was awarded the Father Joseph Beatini Award and the George Bailey Award.
She is survived by two daughters: Paula Conkey and Margaret McComb; two grandsons: James (Kristi) Conkey and Peter (Jackie) McComb; five great-grandchildren: Stephanie, Jessica, Whitney, Crossett and Rowan; two great-great-grandchildren: Brody and Emmett; and her brother, Paul Avveduti. Anita was predeceased by her husband Cecil Fitzgerald and grandson Derek Conkey.
