Anne S Compson (Stromak) Rizzieri

Seneca Falls - Anne S. Compson Rizzieri, 93, of E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY, went to be with the Lord on Saturday (September 16, 2017) at her residence. Funeral services and burial in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls, will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior calling hours. Anne was born in Seneca Falls, NY on April 13, 1924 the daughter of the late John & Mary Chuley Stromak. Anne spent most of her life in Seneca Falls, working at the former Westcott Rule as office manager for over 30 years. She was devoted to her family. They were always welcome and she kept in touch with all generations. Travel was a passion, having visited Europe twice: once with Angelo and once with Anita Fitzgerald. There was a cross-country trip with Lou and Barb Rizzieri, seeing all the sites along the way. She traveled independently too, before she remarried. New faces and places, no matter where she went, she made friends. She valued friends and was always there to laugh, to cry, and to care. She loved her chocolate but never fond of cooking. She liked nothing better than to go out to eat, always enjoying Abigail's. Anne was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, the Kirk-Casey Post #366 American Legion Auxiliary and the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge #922 Auxiliary of Seneca Falls. Anne is survived by: Her son, John (Lana) Compson - Plainsboro, NJ Her daughter, Mary Anne Tokar - Baldwinsville, NY Many nieces, nephews, friends, including her caregivers, Denise, Jackie, and Sonya. In addition to her parents, Anne was predeceased by her husbands, Jack Compson and Angelo Rizzieri, sister, Mary Manus, & brother, John Stromak
