Seneca Falls - Barbara C. Shane, 70, passed away at Highland Hospital, Rochester, New York, on Friday, October 23, 2015. Family and friends may visit the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY on Thursday (October 29, 2015) from 4:00 - 6:00 PM with A Memorial Service immediately following at 6:00. Father James Fennessy, Pastor of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, will officiate. Barbara was born on November 7, 1944 in Waterloo, NY and was the daughter of the late Thomas F. and Jessie (Campbell) Sanpietro. She resided in Seneca Falls all of her life and was a 1962 Graduate of Mynderse Academy. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church of Seneca Falls, NY. Barbara retired from GTE Sylvania after being employed there for over 20 years. She was also a former employee of the Skoi-Yase School in Waterloo, NY. She enjoyed her scratch-off lottery tickets and the "Sunday Jumble". She enjoyed keeping in touch with her friends and loved being around her grandson, Lorenzo. Barbara is survived by: 1 - Son - Thomas F. Shane - Seneca Falls,NY 1 - Daughter - Tracie M. Shane - Rochester, NY 1 - Grandson - Lorenzo V. Alarcon-Shane - Rochester, NY 1 - Sister - Jessie Vaughn - Vernon, TX. Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins Besides her parents, Barbara is predeceased by her husband- Francis M. Shane; 1 - Brother - Thomas R. Sanpietro; 1 - Sister - Frances J. Sanpietro.
