Waterloo - Bertha D. Nolan, 67, formerly of Amherst Road, Waterloo, NY, died Thursday (April 21, 2016) at Soldiers and Sailors Hospital, Penn Yan, NY. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls on Tuesday (April 26) from 11 AM to 1 PM followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 1 PM with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. Bertha was born in Seneca Falls, NY on February 22, 1949 the daughter of the late Joseph & Betty Rice Izzo. She had been employed by Zoto's of Geneva, NY. She had been a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls. Bertha loved her computer games, doing word puzzles in the newspaper, and Facebook but especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren. She is survived by: Her husband, William Nolan of Seneca Falls, whom she married on April 25, 1987 3 daughters - Lori (Daryl Morrell) Bennett - Romulus, NY Crissy (Fred Lloyd) Davis - Brockport, NY Alyssa Nolan - Kendell, NY 1 step-daughter - Trisha (Jon) Hilgers - Rochester, NY 3 sons - Thomas (Tina) Davis - Seneca Falls, NY Joseph Davis - Seneca Falls, NY Robert (Laurie) Davis - Waterloo, NY 3 step-sons - Jeffrey Nolan - West Virginia Brian Nolan - Rochester, NY William Nolan III - Ovid, NY 24 Grandchildren & 7 Great Grandchildren 1 sister- Susan (Al) Bishop - Skaneateles, NY Several nieces, nephews, & cousins In addition to her parents, Bertha was predeceased by 1 great grandchild, Riley Grace Osterhout who died February 1, 2016, and her special aunts who brought her up, Mary Rose & Louise Izzo Please leave a condolence or light a candle in memory of Bertha at: doranfuneralhome.com.
