Seneca Falls - Betty L. Valerio, 70, of Ovid St., Seneca Falls, NY, passed away on Tuesday (August 6, 2019) at Geneva Living Center South, Geneva, NY.
Funeral services and interment will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior calling hours.
Betty was born in New York City on July 4, 1949 and was the daughter of Macy & Meldonia Gibson Paradise Sr. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls. She was a life resident of Seneca Falls and was retired from the former Willard Psychiatric Center, Willard, NY. She, also, had worked at the New York Chiropractic College, Seneca Falls. She was a bowling and cards playing enthusiast who, also, loved her trips to the casino.
She is survived by:
1 son - Doug (Giovanna Christopher) Paradise - Seneca Falls, NY
Her father - Macy Paradise Sr. - Seneca Falls, NY
2 sisters - Gloria McMillen - Florida
Sharon (Laurin) Walton - Elmira, NY
1 brother - Macy Paradise Jr. - Batavia, NY
Several nieces & nephews
Betty was predeceased by her mother, Meldonia Gibson Paradise who died in 2002, & her sister, Sheryl Lewis
