Seneca Falls - Carol Gage Sipos, 73 of Morris Dr., Seneca Falls, formerly of East Lake Road, Town of Varick, NY, passed away on Thursday (March 8, 2018) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Sunday (March 11, 2018) from 2 PM to 5 PM. Carol's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday (March 12) at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. If desired, contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, Genesee Valley Chapter, 3300 Monroe Ave., Suite 319, Rochester, NY 14618. Carol was born in Geneva, NY on December 18, 1944 the daughter of the late Smith & Wilma Thompson Gage. She had resided most of her life in Seneca Falls. She was a graduate of Rochester Business Institute where she earned her Associates Degree in Secretarial Science. Carol had served 5 years as acting village justice of Seneca Falls and worked 12 years as Justice for the Town of Seneca Falls. She, also, worked as bookkeeper for the Town of Varick, NY. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls and Holy Cross Church, Ovid, NY. In addition she was a member of Rumseyville Sportsman's Club, Seneca Falls, the Seneca County Magistrate's Association, & St. Patrick's Parents Association. She is survived by: Her children - Catherine (Togo) DeBellis - LeRoy, NY Elizabeth (David) Guzzetta - Pittsford, NY Matthew (Shelagh) Sipos - Stevensville, MD. Bridget (John) Mele - Seneca Falls, NY Greg (Deb) Sipos - Canandaigua, NY Tricia (Kenneth) Lisk - Seneca Falls, NY Her grandchildren - Andi (Ben) Eadie, Jake & Riley DeBellis, Michael & Katie Guzzetta, Abby & Alex Sipos, Tyler & Karli Mele, Hannah, Emma, & Zach Sipos, Christy (JJ) Nitsch, & Christopher Lisk. Her great grandchildren - Ava Sipos, Briar Frances Eadie, Chase, Traeton, & Reed Nitsch Her brother - Keith (Catherine) Gage, Fayetteville, NY Her nephews, Daniel (Kim) Gage, Randall (Sarah) Gage & their families.
