Seneca Falls - Cecelia M. Smith, 74, Formerly of E. Bayard St., Extension, Seneca Falls, NY, passed away, unexpectedly, on Wednesday (August 22, 2018) at Soldier's & Sailor's Hospital, Penn Yan, NY. Cecelia's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday (August 29) at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, with Reverend Michael Merritt, as celebrant. Calling will be from 9 AM to 10 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, prior to the Mass. Committal services & burial for Cecelia will be held on Thursday (August 30) at 11 AM at Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, PA. If desired, contributions may be made to Beverly Animal Shelter, River Rd., Waterloo, NY 13165. Cecelia was born in Sunbury, PA. on November 22, 1943 the daughter of the late Robert & Phyllis Zeiber Gross. Cecelia was retired from the Seneca County Department of Social Services where she was a case supervisor. She is survived by: 1 daughter - Bobbi (Mike) Day - Pennsylvania 1 brother - Robert (Pat Slaughter) Gross - Anaheim, California In addition to her parents, Cecelia was predeceased by her husband, Phillip Smith.
