Seneca Falls - Charles E. "Chuck" Andrews, 81, of Seneca Falls, NY & LaBelle, FL., loving husband & devoted father, passed away, April 6, 2013, at hospice care, FL. At Chuck's request, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service, with military honors, will be held at a later date at Restvale Cemetery, Seneca Falls, NY with Reverend Kevin Grish, Pastor of Tyre United Methodist Church, Town of Tyre, officiating. If desired, contributions may be made to Tyre United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 56, Cayuga, NY 13034 or to Red Jacket/Seneca Falls Fire Department, P.O. Box 184, Seneca Falls, NY 13148 Arrangements are under the direction of Doran Funeral Home, Seneca Falls, NY. Charles was born in Seneca Falls, the son of the late Albert S. Sr. & Florence Cole Andrews. He was a graduate of Mynderse Academy, SUNY at Morrisville Auto Tech & was trained at Spartan School of Aeronautics. Tulsa, OK. He served in the US. Army 6th Transportation Company, Helicopter Division, during the Korean War & was awarded several medals & commendations. Chuck was a retired supervisor from NYSEG of Auburn, NY. He was a life member & past chief of the Red Jacket Fire Department, Bridgeport & Seneca Falls, NY and was a past member of the Finger Lakes Good Sam Club. Upon retirement, he & his wife, Ellie, fulfilled their dreams of RV-ing around the USA. Chuck is survived by: his wife, Eleanor "Ellie" Griggs Andrews of Seneca Falls, with whom he would have celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary this month, a son, Brian (Lori) Andrews of Seneca Falls, his daughter, Cheryl (Anthony) Baggetta of CT. & her twin brother, Charles E. (Cynthia) Andrews Jr. of Penfield, NY, 4 grandchildren, Samantha, Courtney, Caleb & Caley Andrews, 1 great grandchild, Zyionna J. Moore & several nieces & nephews.
