Family & friends may attend a graveside service for Darlene on Friday (August 14) at 1:30 PM at Sodus Rural Cemetery, Sodus, NY. There will be no prior calling hours Due to COVID-19, everyone must wear a mask and observe social distancing.

Darlene was born in Penn Yan, NY on July 7, 1959 the daughter of Norman & Louise (Rogers) Rugg. She had been residing in Seneca Falls since 2018, moving from Elmira, NY. Darlene loved family, cooking, & animals. She was a big animal lover.

She is survived by:
1 daughter - Loretta (Mathew) Shattuck - Williamson, NY
2 sons - Scott Snyder - Newark, NY
John Sampsell - North Carolina
Her mother - Louise (Rogers) Temple - Newark, NY
5 grandchildren - Genesis, William, Ashlee, Austin, & Kylie
4 sisters - Patricia Ann Cruz - Newark, NY
Jennifer (Louis) Buot - New Jersey
Valerie (Brian) Mattern - Penfield, NY
Benita Rugg - Penn Yan, NY
1 brother - Richard J. (Jill) Temple - Georgia

Darlene was predeceased by her father, Norman Rugg.
