David Wagner, 75, of Waterloo, passed unexpectedly at Geneva General Hospital, on Saturday, March 28th, 2026. Calling Hours will be on Wednesday, April 8th, from 11AM – 1PM, with a funeral service to immediately follow at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls. He will be laid to rest with his wife, the late Cheryl Wagner, in St. Columbkille Cemetery in Seneca Falls.
David was born in Albion, NY, son of the late Walter and Marian (Robinson) Wagner. He grew up in the Albion area and relocated to Waterloo in his early 20’s. He had worked for Baillie Lumber in Waterloo as a production operator for over 25 years before retiring. Not one to sit still, he worked another 15 years for Seneca County ARC until health issues forced him to permanently retire.
David loved the music and movies he grew up with. He enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley and the original rock n roll, and he also enjoyed original country western music. When it came to movies, he liked classic westerns and was a big fan of Clint Eastwood. He was also a longtime and devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers.
David is survived by his two children, Kim (Scott) Snyder and Bill (Araceli) Donaldson; five grandchildren, Jasmine Harris, Shelby (Devin) Smith, Michael, Noah, and John Donaldson; nine great-grandchildren; and nephew, Marty Hernandes. He was predeceased by his parents, and wife, Cheryl (Mumford) Wagner.
