Waterloo - Denise E. Gifford, 57, of Stewart St., Waterloo, NY, died Monday (September 15, 2014) at Rochester General Hospital, Rochester, NY. Family and friends may attend Denise's memorial service on Friday (September 19) at 11 AM at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor of St. Francis/St. Clare Parish, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to Beverly Animal Shelter, River Road, Waterloo, NY 13165. Denise was born in Geneva, NY on July 1, 1957 the daughter of Kenneth & Catherine Hill Eighmey. She had resided in Waterloo for most of her life and was currently employed by Geneva General Hospital. She was a graduate of Finger Lakes Community College where she earned her associates degree. She enjoyed reading and loved her family and her animals. She is survived by: Her husband - John Gifford - Waterloo, NY Her mother - Catherine Hill Jolly - Waterloo, NY 2 daughters - Christina (Jean) Nardozzi - Spencer, NY Jennilee (Brent) Same - Lake View, NY 1 son - Christopher Clink - Penn Yan, NY 2 sisters - Dawn (Michael) Kapp - Geneva, NY Valerie (Dave) Doxstader - Waterloo, NY 4 brothers - Kenneth (Patty) Eighmey - St. Augustine, Florida William (Marissa) Jolly - Waterloo, NY Robert (Mary) Jolly - Geneva, NY Thomas (Jennifer) Jolly - Waterloo, NY 5 grandchildren - Zachary, Tyler, & Nathan Same, Hailey & Lucus Clink Several nieces and nephews Denise was predeceased by her father, Kenneth Eighmey.
