Donald V. Daniels Jr.

Donald Daniels Jr, 62, of Seneca Falls, passed on Sunday, March 22nd, 2026, at Geneva General Hospital after an extended illness. In keeping with Donald’s wishes, there are no public services.

Donald was born in Henrietta, NY, son of the late Donald Sr. and Lillian (Collins) Daniels. He grew up and spent the majority of his life in the Rochester area before relocating to Seneca Falls about ten years ago. Don enjoyed the change of pace of the Finger Lakes over the hurriedness of city life in Rochester.

Donald was a lifelong sports fan, especially of the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres. He even attended a NFL playoff game at Ralph Wilson Stadium during their 1993 championship season. Outside of sports, Don enjoyed watching true crime TV series. His top shows were Blue Bloods and NCIS.

Don’s biggest passion in life was his family. From his involvement in his sons’ sports teams when they were growing up, to always being there for his grandchildren, it was family that always meant the most to Don.

Don is survived by his bride of 32 years, Bonnie Daniels; sons, Daniel Acton, Jamie (fiancé, Amber) Daniels, Steven (Christina) Acton, Michael (Tara) Converse; daughters, Kara Daniels and Heather (fiancé, Bill) Acton; nineteen grandchildren; brothers, Verne (Kathy) Daniels and Jason (Adrienne Trimper) Daniels; sisters, Christina Maxwell and Robbie (Robert) Compton; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Don was predeceased by a sister, Maline Daniels-Rivera.
