Donna L. Pocai

Donna Pocai, 83, passed away peacefully on Saturday July 19, 2025, at Huntington Living Center in Waterloo.

Donna was born in Geneva, the daughter of the late Donald and Dorothy (Rickerson) Goodman. She grew up in Geneva and graduated from Geneva High School. She worked as a medical secretary before retiring. Donna was very socially active, a creative crafter and hobbyist, and would frequently handcraft beautiful gifts for family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends as well as watching her beloved Boston Red Sox. Her fondest memories were of her travel adventures to Vermont.

Donna leaves behind her daughter, Victoria (Ralph) Wise; sister, Carol Bunce; nephew, Shawn (BillieJo) Bunce; stepson, Michael Pocai; brothers-in-law, Salvano (Janet) Pocai and Howard Bruse; several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-nieces and nephews, and extended family. In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by her husband, Ivo Pocai; niece, Kelly Switzer; brother-in-law, George Bunce, and sister-in-law, Joanne Bruse.

According to her wishes, there will be no viewing, funeral or memorial services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Huntington Living Center Special Needs Unit, 369 E. Main St., Waterloo, NY 13165
