Elizabeth “Betty” Levesque, 77, of Boynton Beach, FL, and previous resident of Rochester and Seneca Falls, NY, passed away on July 14th, 2026, after a brief illness. Calling Hours for Betty will be held on Thursday, July 23rd from 4:00-7:00 PM at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 24th at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, 97 West Bayard St., Seneca Falls. Interment to follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery. Donations in Betty’s memory may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Betty was born in Seneca Falls, daughter of the late Daniel and Lena (Scalmassi) Bellomo. She grew up in Seneca Falls and graduated from Mynderse Academy, Class of 1966. Betty moved to Rochester, to take employment and worked for several places in the area as a very proficient secretary. One of her favorite jobs was working for the American Automobile Association in Rochester. She loved to put together the TripTik’s for people and send folks on their journey knowing more about their trip than before they’d visited her office.

Betty was a woman of strong faith, and that connection to her church led her to meet the man who would become her husband, Gerald Levesque. Betty was very involved at her church, Corpus Christi Church in Rochester, where she sang in the chorus and enjoyed volunteering to help others. Betty and Gerald’s paths crossed, a few years prior, and on September 18th, 1982, the couple were united in marriage at the very church where they met.

In the early 2000’s Betty and Gerald moved to Florida and have called that home ever since. Over the last 26 years, the couple have been side by side, with several of those years Gerald running his accounting business, and Betty doing what she does best, managing the office. The couple have enjoyed retirement in recent years, where they’ve been able to do things they want to do instead of what they must do. Betty loved to play bingo, and was a very competitive euchre player. Recently, Betty has very much enjoyed sitting and watching the Florida sunset, just her and Gerry, side by side.

Betty is survived by her husband of 43 years, Gerald; stepdaughters, Monica Laveck, Patricia (Bryan) Flanagan, Sandrea (Daniel) Brewerton; seven grandchildren; sister; Linda Moshier; nephew, Mark (Jessica) Bellomo; niece, Nicole (Shukri) Elmazi; extended family and many friends. In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by her brother, William (Jeanne) Bellomo; sister, Marie Bellomo; brother-in-law, Royce Moshier; step-daughter, Michelle Laveck; step-son, Victor Laveck.
