Waterloo - Elizabeth A. "Ann" Nickel, 70, of Whiskey Hill Road, Waterloo, NY, died Saturday (March 14, 2015) at Seneca Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Waterloo, NY. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY on Wednesday (March 18) from 5 to 7 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 7 PM at the funeral home with Reverend Leah Ntuala, Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Seneca Falls, officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. If desired, contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Upstate Chapter, 1000 Elmwood Ave., Suite 900, Rochester, NY 14620. Ann was born in Wichita, Kansas on April 12, 1944 the daughter of the late Maurice & Mildred Mae Ingram Gilstrap. She had resided in Waterloo, NY since 1997 moving from San Jose, California. Ann was a big soccer fan who loved watching and coaching soccer over the years, as well as being a dedicated, loving mother and wife. She is survived by: Her husband, Kenneth Nickel of Waterloo, NY whom she married on January 30, 1965 2 daughters - Jennifer (Doug) Kreisler - Jordan, NY Rebecca (Justin) Snodgrass - Castle Rock, Colorado 2 sons - Timothy (Rachel LaCroix) Nickel - Tallahassee, Florida Kevin Nickel - Castle Rock, Colorado 7 Grandchildren - Bethanie & Natalie Emerick, Eric & MacKenzie Kreisler, Jacob, Jared, & Joseph Snodgrass 1 sister - Janet Sue (Ramon) Iniguez - Valley Center, Kansas 2 brothers - Allan (Betty) Gilstrap - Carnation, Washington David (June) Gilstrap - Broadlands, Virginia Several nieces and nephews Please visit: doranfuneralhome.com
