Waterloo - Elsa Tuthill, 67, of Waterloo, NY, died Friday (July 11, 2014) at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY. Family and friends may attend her Memorial Mass on Wednesday (July 16) at 4 PM at St. Mary's Church, Center Street, Waterloo, NY with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior calling hours. Elsa was born In Johnson City, Texas on December 3, 1946 the daughter of the late Blas & Gregoria Hinojosa Corpus. She had resided in Waterloo, NY since 1972, moving there from Johnson City, Texas. She had been employed by Off-Track Betting in Seneca Falls, NY. Elsa loved to cook and bake, especially for her grandchildren. She is survived by: 2 daughters - Brenda Kemp - Geneva, NY Laura Andrews - Waterloo, NY 8 grandchildren - Jonathon Tuthill, Jessica Rivera, Jacqueline (Brian) Hughes, Amanda (Josh) Parker, Jeremy Andrews, Shadeem Whitfield, Shamanique Tuthill, & Jerry Mackey 7 great grandchildren 3 sisters - Lydia (Ken) Ferguson - San Antonio, Texas Stella Corpus - Johnson City, Texas Beanie (Angelo) Vega - Johnson City, Texas 2 brothers - Blas Corpus Jr. - Johnson City, Texas Zenon (Tracy) Corpus - Johnson City, Texas Her caregiver - Reggie Penird - Waterloo, NY Several nieces and nephews In addition to her parents, Elsa was predeceased by 1 daughter, Sherry Tuthill who died May 30, 1999 and 1 sister, Irma Corpus Arrangements are under the direction of Doran Funeral Home, Seneca Falls, NY Please visit: doranfuneralhome.com
