Frances Urquhart

Seneca Falls: Frances Urquhart, 83, passed away on Monday, September 26th, 2022 at Huntington Living Center in Waterloo. Frances' family will have a gathering to celebrate her life on Saturday, October 8th, 2022 at 5 PM at her son, Joseph's residence at 291 Fall St., Seneca Falls.

Frances was born in Seneca Falls, one of five daughters of the late John and Concetta (Soscia) Santoro. She was a lifelong resident of Seneca Falls. Frances understood the importance of having a positive environment for her children to grow up in, so she found great reward in being a homemaker. While she was very much a private person, she and her family enjoyed special bonds with their neighbors and their children who were like family. Frances had a big heart for animals and was a huge fan of the NY Mets as well as America's Team, the Dallas Cowboys.

She is survived by her son, Joseph (Cynthia); daughters, Debra Urquhart, Ruthie (Jeddy) Dowlin, and Mary "Molly" Urquhart; grandchildren, Jessica, Shelly, Andrea, Douglas, Sarah, Eric, Leah, Matthew; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Hailey, Nicholas, Ashan, Lucas, Caleb; sisters, Josephine Slattery and Eda Pfeiffer; several nieces, nephews and extended family. Frances was predeceased by her son, Andrew Urquhart and two sisters, Louisa Key and Vincentinia Grunowich.

Her children would like to extend a very special thank you to family friends, Marilou, Bev, and David for their continued care and love towards their mother.
