Frances E. "Fran" (Kramer) Wenderlich

Seneca Falls - Frances "Fran" E. Wenderlich, 81 of Joanne Ave., Seneca Falls, NY, passed away on Sunday (July 23, 2017) at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Thursday (July 27) from 5 PM to 7 PM. Fran's Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday (July 28) at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. If desired, contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church for the restoration of the Stations of the Cross, 25 Center St., Waterloo, NY 13165 or to Catholic Charities of the Finger Lakes, 94 Exchange St., Geneva, NY 14551. Fran was born in Corning, NY on May 20, 1936 the daughter of the late Arthur & Dorothy Harrington Kramer. She had been a 45 year resident of Seneca Falls. She was a graduate of the University of Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She was retired from Seneca County Department of Health where she served as Director of Public Health. Fran had a long & varied nursing career. She was an active member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, where she served as a commentator at Sunday Mass and a Eucharist Minister. She was a volunteer at Pathway Home of Seneca Falls. She was a former member of the village board of Seneca Falls & the House of Concern. She had been active in Girl Scouts, Literacy Volunteers, and the George Bailey Play that takes place over "It's a wonderful Life" weekend. She is survived by: Her husband, Paul M. Wenderlich of Seneca Falls, whom she married on October 15, 1960. 3 daughters - Leslie (Teddy) Priebe - Virginia Kirstin (Kipp) Goodman - Waterloo, NY Paula (Jim) Coffey - Seneca Falls, NY 1 son - Steven (Desta) Wenderlich - Virginia 7 grandchildren - Danielle & Nicole Priebe, Nicholas & Emlyn Goodman, Jared & Marissa Coffey, & Gregory Wenderlich 1 sister - Patricia (Dean) DeBuck - Virginia 2 special nieces - Mary Beth & Katie In addition to her parents, Fran was predeceased by her brother, Arthur C.
