Francis D "Frank" Cerza

Seneca Falls - Francis "Frank" D. Cerza, 88, of Seneca Falls, NY, passed away Saturday, (April 2, 2016), after a short illness. Family and friends may attend a Memorial Mass at St. Patrick's Church, 97 E. Bayard St. Seneca Falls, on Thursday (April 7, 2016) at 12:00 noon with Reverend Roy Kiggins, as celebrant. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made in Frank's name to the charity of one's choice. Frank was born on July 27, 1927, in Auburn, NY, the son of the late Felix and Antoinette Batista Cerza. Frank served our country in the US Navy and was a WWII Veteran. For many years, he owned and operated the Cerza Furniture Store that was located on Fall St.in Seneca Falls. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church of Seneca Falls, and a former member and past Vice President of the Seneca Falls Kiwanis Club. Frank was also a member of the Seneca Falls Knights of Columbus and the Downtown Merchants of Seneca Falls. Frank was a devoted husband, supportive father, and a wise friend. His gentle humility, moral integrity, and human compassion went a long way in making this world a better place. He will be greatly missed.
