Frederick W. Conley Sr.

Seneca Falls-Waterloo - Frederick W. Conley Sr., 88, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Seneca Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Waterloo, NY. Keeping with Fred's wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. Burial will be in Fayette Rural Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Fred's name, to Seneca Nursing & Rehab Center, 200 Douglas Dr., Waterloo, NY 13165, Attn: Activity & Recreation Dept., or a charity of one's choice. Fred was born on July 15, 1928, the son of the late George and Catherine Deal Conley. He lived in Seneca Falls all of his life. He was a former member of the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge and the Elks Lodge in Sabastian, Florida. In his early years, Fred was employed by Huntington Chrysler Plymouth, & Dodge of Seneca Falls where he worked as an auto mechanic. He also was a Deliveryman for Byrne Dairy and everyone knew him as "Freddie the milkman". Kids on his route always received free chocolate milk. Fred was employed at the Seneca Falls Hospital where he was head of the maintenance department, then went to be a Union Carpenter for various construction companies in the area and retired in 1990. He was very skilled and a perfectionist in his trade. Fred was a volunteer fireman for the Red Jacket and Fayette Fire Departments and an original partner of Conley & Son Excavating Co. Fred loved his family and especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Tenneille (Eric) Brewer Michelle Kelsey Heather (Randy) Dove Amanda (Steve) Brown Adam Conley 5 - Great Grandchildren - Alivia & Alexis Conley Paige, Isabelle, and Gavin Brewer 3 - Step-Children - Charles (Beverly) Smith, Fla; Deborah Horton, Texas; William Smith, Seneca Falls, NY Besides his parents, Fred was pre-deceased by his First Wife, Beverly Irene Campbell Conley; 4 - Brothers - Paul, Kenneth, George, Glenn Conley; 3 - Sisters - Marguerite Kenny; Elenora Baker; Georgianna Jones.
