Seneca Falls - Frederick J. Curry, 67, of Lower Lake Rd., Seneca Falls, NY, passed away on Saturday (November 25, 2017 at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY on Friday (December 1, 2017) from 4 to 7 PM followed by a funeral service at 7 PM at the funeral home with Reverend James Fennessy, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the charity of one's choice and please consider being an organ donor The Seneca Falls Honor Guard will conduct Military Honors at the funeral home on Friday evening (December 1) at 6:45 PM Fred was born in Seneca Falls, NY on October 17, 1950, the son of the late Harold "Pop" & Mary Gargan Curry. He was a life resident of Seneca Falls and had served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was proud of the fact that he was a plank owner of the USS Hawkbill Submarine while serving in the U.S. Navy. He was retired from the former Seneca Army Depot, Romulus, NY, and he was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls. He is survived by: 2 brothers - Stephen Curry - Waterloo, NY Martin (Carol) Curry - Central Square, NY 3 nieces/nephew - Lori (Phil) Hemminger - Black River, NY Stephen (Heather Bassett) Curry II - Middlesex, NY Carrie (Rolando) Curry-Azogue - Central Square, NY Ceara Curry - Central Square, NY Several grand nieces and nephews. The love of his life, his dog Holly. In addition to his parents, Fred was predeceased by his brother, Michael J. Curry, a niece, Maria Curry and his sister-in-law, Katy Curry.
