Waterloo/Seneca Falls - Gary W. Felice Sr., 62 of Reed Road, Waterloo, NY, died Saturday (March 21, 2015) at his residence. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY on Thursday (March 26) from 4 - 7 PM followed by a funeral service at 7 PM with Lena Shipley, Retired Pastoral Associate of St. Mary's Church, Waterloo, NY, officiating. The Seneca Falls Honor Guard will conduct Military Honors for Gary on Thursday evening (March 26) at 6:45 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the spring in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls, NY. If desired, contributions may be made to the Kirk-Casey Post #366 American Legion, 48 State St., Seneca Falls, NY 13148. Gary was born in Seneca Falls, NY on November 16, 1952 the son of the late Joseph & Janice Ross Felice Sr.. He had resided most of his life in the Waterloo-Seneca Falls area and was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam Conflict. He was retired from Seneca Meadows Landfill of Seneca Falls, NY. Gary was a member of the Sunnyslope, Arizona American Legion Post #75, the Sons of the American Legion of the Kirk-Casey Post #366 American Legion, Seneca Falls, NY, the Lt. Cyrus Garnsey Post #1323 V.F.W. Men's Auxiliary, Seneca Falls, NY, & the Finger Lakes Moose Club Chapter 41, Waterloo, NY. Gary was the recipient of the Good Citizenship Award in Seneca Falls, NY on April 13, 1976 for saving the life of a fellow human being from the waters of the Barge Canal on April 2, 1976.
