George R. Welch

George R. Welch was born Aug 9, 1954 the oldest son of John and Wilhelmina (Alexander) Welch Trumbull Holmes. George passed away unexpectedly at his home on February 7th, 2021. A long-time resident of Seneca Falls, he worked at Gould pumps as a Systems Analyst. George is predeceased by his parents, brother James John, and sister Mary Elizabeth Trumbull.

Surviving family includes brothers David (Beverly) Welch, Ronald (Lisa) Trumbull, step-sister Shirley Asman and several other step siblings. George has many nieces, nephews and the next generation of family.

George was dedicated to his work, yet he loved the outdoors. He was a fisherman; he enjoyed riding his electric bike and spending time with family and friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 27th, from 1 - 3 PM with a funeral service to immediately follow at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY. Pastor Beverly Welch will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in George's name to a charity of your choice.
