Gerald G. “Jerry” Pagano Jr., 74, passed after a long and courageous health battle, at Geneva General Hospital, on Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025. Calling hours are Monday, September 29th from 4-6 PM at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 30th at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, 97 West Bayard St., Seneca Falls. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery. Jerry was born in Seneca Falls, son of the late Gerald and Mary (Giovannini) Pagano, Sr. He graduated from Mynderse Academy and went on to further his education at St. John Fisher University in Rochester, where he received his bachelor’s in accounting. On April 3rd, 1972, while still finishing up college, Jerry was united in marriage with Marianne Lord. This past April, the couple celebrated their 53rd anniversary.
A man who valued hard work, Jerry worked for Goulds Pumps for over 30 years before retiring, and ran his own tax business, Pagano Tax Service, out of the home for more than 50 years. In addition, Jerry owned and operated J&T Discount Guns for many years.
Outside of work, Jerry was a classic car and motorcycle enthusiast, owning several classic and unique cars over the years. He also was a member of the MacDougall Sportsmen’s Club and the Waterloo Rifle and Pistol Club.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Marianne; daughter, Kelly (Joe) Wyatt; son, Tim (Tanya Tyler) Pagano; grandchildren, Tyler Seymour, Brandon DiCicco, and Madison Tyler; great-granddaughter, Callie DiCicco; brother, Joe (Carolyn) Pagano; as well as extended family and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents.
Jerry’s family would like to extend a very special thank you to the Seneca Falls Police Department, North Seneca Ambulance, and all of the staff that were instrumental in his care at Geneva General Hospital over the last few months.
