SENECA FALLS - Gino J. Frappolli, 88, of 47 Green St., Seneca Falls, N.Y., passed away Saturday (October 2, 2021) after a prolonged illness. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Thursday (October 7) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Gino's Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday (October 8) at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, 97 W. Bayard St., Seneca Falls with Reverend James Fennessey as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. Contributions, if desired, may be made to the parish office for St. Patrick's Church, 25 Center St., Waterloo, NY 13165.
Gino was born in Seneca Falls, N.Y. on August 21, 1933, the son of the late Peter and Teresa (Rossi) Frappolli. He was a life-long resident of Seneca Falls and a graduate of Mynderse Academy. After graduation, Gino proudly served his country, serving in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Gino was retired from Goulds Pumps, Seneca Falls, after 32 years and ended his career as a Manufacturer's Engineer. In his retirement, Gino loved to travel, meet with "The Guys" at the SMS, and play golf. Over the years he had many flower gardens that he enjoyed spending time tending to. Gino was an avid sports fan and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gino was a member of the SMS, American Legion, and St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls.
Gino is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Phyllis (Fiorelli) Frappolli, whom he married July 26, 1958, of Seneca Falls; two children Peter (Kim Mellito) Frappolli of Bonita Springs, Fla. and Karen (Victor) Tumbiolo of Seneca Falls; six grandchildren Michelle (Graham) Chapman of Pembroke, Mass., Anthony Frappolli, Michael Contreras, Victor Tumbiolo II, and Christina Tumbiolo all of Seneca Falls and Katherine Frappolli of Calif.; two great-grandchildren Carter and Scarlett Chapman of Pembroke, Mass.; one sister, Isabella DeSanto; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Gino was predeceased by his brothers Carlo and Paul Frappolli.
