Seneca Falls - James L. "Tuna" Toni, 80 of Chestnut St., Seneca Falls, NY, died Monday (December 21, 2015) at Huntington Living Center, Waterloo, NY with his family by his side. Family and friends may attend Tuna's Memorial Mass on January 9, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial, with military honors, will be in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls, at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior calling hours. Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620. "Tuna" was born in Seneca Falls, NY on November 9, 1935 the son of the late John & Rose Rossi Toni. He was a life resident of Seneca Falls and had served in the U. S. Army. He retired in 1993 from Gould's Pumps of Seneca Falls. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church and the S.M.S., both of Seneca Falls. "Tuna" loved fishing, hunting, playing cards, especially a good game of Euchre. He, also, enjoyed his Bocce games at both the S.M.S., and the Rumseyville Sportsman's Club. He is survived by: His wife, Mary Jane Holland Toni of Seneca Falls 2 daughters - Dianne (Fredrick) McIntyre - Seneca Falls, NY Luann Toni - Denver, Colorado 1 son - Eric "Rick" Toni - Russell, PA. 4 grandchildren - Derrick (Sonali Wijesuriya) McIntyre, Britteny (Theodore Cotter) McIntyre, Brandon McIntyre, & Eden Maddox 1 brother - Robert (Georgianna) Toni - Maryland 2 sisters - Marie (Charles) Battaglia - Waterloo, NY Shirley (William) Parker - Rochester, NY Several nieces and nephews In addition to his parents, "Tuna" was predeceased by 1 son, James "Jim Jim" Edward Toni who died March 2, 2008.
