Jane S. (Ward) Denman

Jane S. Denman, 75, passed unexpectedly at her home, on Monday, June 23rd, 2025.

Jane was born in Auburn, NY, daughter of the late Paul and Margaret (Stebbins) Ward. She grew up in Port Byron, and graduated from Port Byron Central School, Class of 1969. For over 20 years, she worked for Seneca-Cayuga ARC in Auburn, retiring as the Activities Coordinator.

Jane had always enjoyed crafting and working with her hands. She loved making photo books, scrapbooking, and in her younger years, she liked to refinish furniture.

Jane is survived by her daughter, Theresa Smith; sister, Debbie (David) Drawdy; longtime caretaker and friend, George Salvage; special friend, Calvin Porter; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family. In addition to her parents, Jane was predeceased by her husband, David Denman; son, James Smith; an infant twin sister, Jean Ward; and brothers, Paul, Charlie, and Richard Ward.

Family and friends are invited to an hour of visitation from 11AM – 12 NOON, with a funeral service to follow, on Wednesday, July 9th, at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls. Interment will follow at Springbrook Cemetery.
