Jenny Merrill of Waterloo, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 23rd, 2023. She was 45. A private Celebration of Life was held at the convenience of her family.
Jenny was born in New Hartford, NY, the daughter of Ronald Williams and Patricia Lynch. Patricia went on to marry James Newberry, who raised Jenny as his own. Jenny grew up in Boonville, NY where she was able to enjoy a carefree country upbringing. She went to school at Adirondack High and was part of the class of 1996.
Jenny was known for being the life of the party. She loved to bake, being in nature with the flowers and the trees and the birds, loved to dance and sing and had a lightheartedness about her that was contagious. She wrote poems and she loved God and she truly lived every day like it was her last. Jenny had a way of making each person feel special and she was always able to make you laugh. She also loved all kinds of candy and desserts but most of all she loved her dog Sadie and she took her everywhere with her. She loved spending time with her children, who she loved more than anything, and her only grandson who was the apple of her eye. She was so happy to be a grandma.
Jenny is survived by her mother, Patricia (Mark) Howard; children, Caylee (Jesse) Papineau, Devon Merrill, Riely Merrill; grandson, Jesse Carter; siblings, Tommy (Marianne) Williams, Carol (Joseph) Andrews and their children, Mira, Savannah and Alex, Michael (Valerie) Williams, Veronica Green; several nephews and nieces and "you all know you were her favorite so shhh don't tell anyone else!," and extended family. In addition to her biological father, she was predeceased by her grandmother, Rosemarie.
