Joseph Bilancini, 76, of Seneca Falls, passed away at his home on Friday, July 5th, 2024. As per Joe's wishes, there are no public services.

Joe was born in Lorain, OH, one of two sons, to the late Rocco and Louise (Steffanucio) Bilancini. His family relocated to Clyde, NY when he was a child and he graduated from Clyde-Savannah High School, Class of 1966. In 1967, Joe joined the Army where he served for 3 years and attained the rank of Sergeant. He held multiple jobs at the same time at various locations and was known for his hard work ethic. He worked for Goulds Pumps for several years, held the position of Village Administrator from 1995-1998 for the village of Seneca Falls, and also worked at Seneca Knitting Mill. From 2006 until his retirement in 2015, he was employed with the Seneca County Sheriff's Department as a corrections officer. He also worked for various restaurants in the area as a cook, including the Twins Café, and ran Smokin' Joe's Café in Seneca Falls.

Outside of work, some of Joe's greatest passions were classic cars, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and he also loved to draw and paint.

Joe is survived by his 2 children, Jolene (Kevin) Korzeniewski and Rocco Bilancini; 5 grandchildren; Caitlyn, Will, Chelsea, Adrianna, Sofia; brother, Daniel (Marcia) Bilancini. He was predeceased by his parents.
