Waterloo - Joseph P. DeRosa Jr., 54, of Marshal Road, Waterloo, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Geneva General Hospital. Family and friends may attend a Graveside service, Saturday, August 1, 2015, at 11:00 AM at St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls, NY. There will be no prior calling hours. Contributions may be made to one's choice. Joseph was born on November 1, 1960, the son of the late Joseph P. Sr. and Gina Kierst DeRosa. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church of Seneca Falls. Joseph enjoyed the outdoors, and loved watering the plants and doing gardening at his Marshal Road home, where he was a resident. He also enjoyed coloring, singing, dancing, and enjoyed being around people. He was a very social person. Survivors: 1 - Sister - Virginia Vose, Seneca Falls, NY 1 - Nephew - Andrew (Tierra Nelson) Vose, Crestview, Florida 1 - Great Niece - Taylan Vose, Crestview, Florida Several Cousins Besides his parents, Joseph is predeceased by 1 Brother, Stephen DeRosa who died in February 2015; 1 Brother-in-law, Ernest Vose; a very special Aunt Mary and Uncle James Didona.
