Fayette/Weedsport - Joseph W. Dickenson, 54, of Ditmar Road, Weedsport, NY, formerly of Fayette, NY, died Friday (March 20, 2015) at Upstate Medical University Hospital, Syracuse, NY. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY, on Friday (March 27) from 3 - 7 PM. Committal Services will be held at the convenience of the family in the spring in Fayette Rural Cemetery, Fayette, NY. If desired, contributions may be made to Finger Lakes S.P. C.A., 41 York St., Auburn, NY 13021. Joe was born in Auburn, NY on July 8, 1960 the son of Harry D. & Phyllis Marino Dickenson. He had resided in Weedsport for 20 years moving from Seneca Falls. Joe served in the U.S. Air Force from 1979 to 1984 earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. He has been employed as a truck driver for Barr Transportation of Auburn, NY. He was a member of the Town of Cato Snowmobile Club. Joe owned a 50-year anniversary edition of the Mustang that was his pride and joy. He is survived by: His father - Harry D.
