Judith A. Marr, lifelong resident of Waterloo, passed comfortably on Tuesday, August 4th, 2026 at Huntington Living Center in Waterloo. In keeping with Judy’s wishes, all services will be held privately, at the convenience of her family. For those wishing, donations in Judy’s memory are encouraged to be directed to a personally meaningful charity of choice.

Judy was born in Waterloo, daughter of the late Charles and Laura (Harris) Robson. She attended local schools and graduated from Waterloo High School, Class of 1963. On September 11th, 1965, in front of family and friends, she was married to Richard “Trapper” Marr at St. Patrick’s Church in Seneca Falls. Judy and Trapper shared in over 55 years together before Trapper’s passing in 2020.

Judy was primarily a homemaker while her children were small. Once the children became school aged, she worked for various local businesses on a part-time basis as a receptionist. It was later on that she ended up working as a receptionist for Goulds Pumps, a job that would turn into a rewarding career of 18 years.

Before Trapper’s passing, he and Judy shared in several adventures. They both loved to travel and found themselves travelling all over the United States, even making it a point to visit all 50 states. Outside of her domestic travels, Judy even travelled to Italy. In addition to traveling and family, Judy had a knack for gardening and loved to tend to her flower garden. She was also a big Elvis fan, even seeing him perform live on a few occasions.

Judy is survived by her son, Stephen (MaryAnne) Marr; daughter, Susan (Raymond) Myers; three grandchildren, Kristin (Timothy) Sandroni, Steven T. Grillone, Nicholas Marr; great-grandson, Steven Grillone; brother, Gerald “Jerry” (Audrey) Robson; several nieces and nephews and extended family. Judy was also blessed and leaves behind a core group of lifelong childhood friends that meant the world to her.
