Seneca Falls - Julianne "Julie" E. Crough, 64, of Ferndale Lane, Minoa, NY, formerly of E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY, died Saturday (June 22, 2013) at University Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, NY. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Friday (June 28) from 10 AM to 11 AM followed by a funeral service at 11 AM at the funeral home with Lena Shipley, Pastoral Associate of St. Mary's Church, Waterloo, NY, officiating. Burial will be in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. If desired, contributions may be made to Beverly Animal Shelter, River Road, Waterloo, NY 13165. The Seneca Falls Elks Lodge #992 will conduct an Elks service at the funeral home on Friday morning (June 28) at 10:45 AM Julie was born in Seneca Falls, NY on June 19, 1949 the daughter of the late Clark & Joan Floras Crough. She was a graduate of Mynderse Academy of Seneca Falls and S.U.N.Y. at Oswego where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree. She had resided in Minoa, NY since May of 2012 moving there from Seneca Falls. She was retired from the Seneca County Department of Social Services where she served as a Senior Supervisor. She was an active member of the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge#992 and a member of the Kirk-Casey Post # 366 American Legion Auxiliary, Seneca Falls. Julie loved a good game of Euchre. She is survived by: 1 sister - Susan Olney of Minoa, NY and her 2 children 1 brother - William (Jean) Crough of Phelps, NY and his 4 children Please visit: doranfuneralhome.com
