Seneca Falls - June E. Cafaro, 73, of Rumsey St., Seneca Falls, NY, died Tuesday (May 24, 2016) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls on Friday (May 27) from 5 to 8 PM. June's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday (May 28) at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. If desired, contributions may be made to St. Francis/St. Clare Parish, 25 Center St., Waterloo, NY 13165 June was born in St. Johns, Michigan on July 25, 1942 the daughter of the late William & Anna Mesh Laity. She had resided in Seneca Falls since 1994, moving from Sanford, Maine. She was a graduate of Southern Maine Technical College of Portland, Maine, where she received her Associates Degree in Nursing. She had been a registered nurse at Cayuga Medical Center, Ithaca, NY, Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY, and Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. She was on the core staff of Kid Peace in Romulus, NY. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls. She is survived by: Her husband, John Cafaro of Seneca Falls, whom she married on May 18, 1963. 1 daughter - Victoria Ann (Richard) Cameron, Raleigh, North Carolina 2 sons - William David Cafaro - Geneva, NY Peter Joseph (Tracy) Cafaro - Londonderry, New Hampshire 7 grandchildren - Andrew (Kristin) & Douglas Cameron, Giovanni Cafaro, Alexander, Peter, & Joseph Cafaro, & Colleen Cafaro. 2 great grandchildren - Mason & Ella Johnston 2 sisters - Joanne (Mack) Allen - Kissimmee, Florida Joyce (Bill) Fahl - Traverse City, Michigan. Several nieces and nephews In addition to her parents, June was predeceased by a granddaughter, Ashley Cafaro & a sister, Janet Ordway.
