Justin T. Christensen

Justin Tyler Christensen Twenty-two years young. Justin passed away on August 17, 2018 following a tragic motorcycle accident in Colonie, New York. Justin was born on September 25, 1995 in Geneva, New York. He was raised in Bath, New York where he graduated from Haverling Central School- Class of 2013. He continued his academic career at Clarkson University, graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering with the class of 2017. Upon graduation he relocated to Albany, New York and began his chemical engineering career at Plug Power. Justin leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his family and friends, near and far. Loved ones who will miss Justin until they meet again are: his parents; Ann (Steve) Scott and Richard Christensen; his two sisters; Danielle (Emmett) Cook and Melissa (Mark) Tobias; his brother Joseph (Brittney) Christensen; his grandparents Joseph (Mary) Lorenzetti; his Uncle Robert (Margaret) Lorenzetti and his five nieces and nephews Cooper, Rhett, Elijah, Gianna and Elle. Justin is preceded in death by: his great grandmother Oppie; great grandparents Aldino (Amanda) Pluretti; his grandparents Richard (Denise) Christensen. Justin touched the lives of so many spanning across all generations. He could turn any less-than-ideal situation around with his sense of humor, crooked grin, and contagious laugh. Justin had the most positive outlook on life, and would always remind you not "sweat the small stuff". He was selfless and would go above and beyond for anyone. He was adventurous and loved to travel. He had a passion for gaming and computers. He was an avid reader with a love for fantasy fiction. Justin was a whiskey connoisseur and worked summers at Dr. Konstantin Frank Winery where he developed an affinity for wine and winemaking. Justin had a zest for life, spending time with family and friends and let's not forget those New York Football Giants. A Celebration of Justin's life will be held on September 25, 2018 for family and friends. Justin had a compassion and willingness to help support the Shriners Hospitals. Memorial donations in memory of Justin can be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
