Seneca Falls - Kenneth J. Faiola Sr., 95, of Ft. Myers, Florida, formerly of Seneca Falls, died Saturday (September 21, 2013) in Ft. Myers, Florida. Family and friends may attend a Memorial Mass for Ken on Saturday (November 2) at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. There will be no prior calling hours. Ken was born in Seneca Falls on March 26, 1918 the son of the late Sylvester & Caroline Lippa Faiola. He was a veteran the U. S. Army during World War II and was retired from Gould's Pumps of Seneca Falls. He had been residing in Ft. Myers, Florida since 1980. Prior to moving to Ft Myers he was a member of St. Patrick's Church, The Rumseyville Sportsmens Club and The SMS. He served as 4th ward trustee in the village of Seneca Falls for many years also. He was a member and chaplain of the V.F.W. Post 1029 of Ft. Myers, Florida where a memorial service will be held on October 19th. He is survived by; His wife, Audrey Faiola - Ft. Myers, Florida 1 daughter - Carolyn Walsh - Tallahassee, Florida 2 sons - Sylvester P. (Patricia) Faiola - Seneca Falls, NY Kenneth Faiola Jr. - Seneca Falls, NY 7 grandchildren - Colleen & Noreen Walsh, William (Renee) Walsh, Tricia (Tim) Mahoney, Michael (Melissa) Faiola, Carrie Ann Faiola, & Jordon Boston. 9 great grandchildren - Isabella & Hutson Walsh, Killian, Kenyon, & Kellen Mahoney, Arden & Jack Faiola, Jessica & Finian Dougherty. 4 sisters - Santa Turri - Seneca Falls, NY Mary Southerland - Seneca Falls, NY Agnes (Angelo) Bonafiglia - Seneca Falls, NY Philomena (Wally) Winter - Ohio 3 brothers - Sylvester (Elisa) Faiola - Seneca Falls, NY Louis (Mary Lynn) Faiola - Maryland Benjamin (Ann) Faiola - Seneca Falls, NY Several nieces and nephews In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Jessie Trinca Faiola who died in January of 1998, & 2 brothers, Anthony & Michael Faiola.
