Larry L. Kent

Larry L. Kent, 66, a lifelong resident of Seneca Falls, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, May 10th, 2025. A time for family and friends to gather will be held on Thursday, May 22nd from 1-3 PM at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls.

Larry was born in Seneca Falls, the son of the late Lavern and June (Reynolds) Kent. For years, Larry worked for Seneca Meadows in Waterloo in addition to other odd jobs he did to keep himself busy. His working career was cut short due to health issues, but Larry still kept himself busy. He was a big NY Giants fan and a fan of college sports. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially on camping trips, and his grandchildren held a special place in his heart. He also became close with his “granddog” Buster, who would get the ”zoomies” whenever Larry was around. He will be surely missed by his family and close friends.

Larry is survived by his two sons, Patrick (Kira) and Larry (Nicole) Kent of Seneca Falls; four grandchildren, Ethan, Michael, Isabel, Abigael Kent; four brothers, Ricky (Tracey) Kent of Seneca Falls, Tim Kent of Waterloo, Jeff Kent of Seneca Falls, David Sharett of Sodus; four sisters, Roxanne (Jeb Brignall) Wendt of Seneca Falls, Margaret Hurd of Watertown, Robin Spino of Savannah, Penny (Dennis) Colegrove of Savannah; and extended family and friends.
