Seneca Falls - Lawrence "Lonnie" D. Walters, 82 of Lincoln Ave., Seneca Falls, NY, died, unexpectedly, Tuesday (October 13, 2015) at his residence. Family and friends may attend his Memorial Mass on Monday (October 19) at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, NY with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to the Seneca Falls Library, 47 Cayuga St., Seneca Falls, NY 13148. Lonnie was born in Canandaigua, NY the son of the late Lawrence G. & Helen Murphy Walters. He was a life resident of Seneca Falls and retired in 1977 from the former Seneca Army Depot, Romulus, NY. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, a charter member of both Kuneytown Sportsman's Club, Fayette, NY and Canoga Sportsman's Club, Canoga, NY. He was a life member of the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge #992 and a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Seneca Falls, NY. Lonnie was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by: 3 sisters - Dawn (James Langston) Murphy - Seneca Falls, NY Pat (David) Parish - Seneca Falls, NY Joan (Calvin) Brown - Seneca Falls, NY 1 brother - Jack (Donna) Walters - Seneca Falls, NY Several nieces, nephews, cousins, & great and great great nieces and nephews.
