Seneca Falls - Lenora "Lena" F. Solometo, 92, formerly of Daniels St., Seneca Falls, NY, died Saturday (December 22, 2012) at Seneca Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Waterloo, NY. A date and time for a Memorial Mass at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, will be announced at a later date. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to Seneca Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, 200 Douglas Dr., Waterloo, NY 13165 Arrangements are under the direction of Doran Funeral Home, Seneca Falls, NY Lena was born in Watkins Glen, NY on March 4, 1920 the daughter of the late Anthony & Marietta Sforza DeDominick. She had resided most of her life in Seneca Falls. She had retired from the former Guaranteed Parts of Seneca Falls and had been employed, at one time, by the Ann Lucchessi Dance Studio of Seneca Falls. Lena was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls. She had, for years. Volunteered at the former Pre-School Community of Seneca Falls, the Red Cross, and Meals-on-Wheels. She is survived by: 1 son - John (Kim Hay) Solometo - Seneca Falls, NY 2 step-daughters - Patsey (Albert) Casabona - Virginia Barbara Solometo - Philadelphia, PA. 1 step-son - Joseph (Leighann) Solometo - Port Republic, VA. 1 Grandson - Patrick Solometo 3 grandchildren - Patrick John Jr. & Ian Francis, & Jacob Solometo, along with their mother Tammy (Kevin Westcott) Bojczuk. 1 sister - Almerida Lewis - Horseheads, NY Several nieces and nephews In addition to her parents, Lena was predeceased by 4 sisters, Rose Bevier, Mary Modla, Luginia Sardo, & Edith Bellinger,, and 4 brothers, Samuel, Ernest, Joseph, & Americo DeDominick.
