Seneca Falls - Leonard J. Arliss, 67, of Mynderse St., Seneca Falls, N.Y., died Saturday (May 10, 2014) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, N.Y. Family and friends may attend a graveside service for Leonard on Thursday (May 15) at 10 AM at Butler-Savannah Cemetery, Route 89,Town of Butler, NY. There will be no prior calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Doran Funeral Home, Seneca Fall, NY.. Leonard was born in Auburn, NY on November 4, 1946 the son of the late Alden B. (Audie) & Myrtle Palmiter Arliss. He had resided in the Mynderse IRA in Seneca Falls for 25 years, moving from Newark, NY. Leonard was the life of the Mynderse St. home and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Leonard was a great character. Although he was sometimes temperamental and strong-willed, he was known and loved for his mischievous ways, sense of humor and display of affection. He is survived by 1 sister-Tammy (Tim Potlaski) DiSanto of Clyde, NY, and 5 brothers, John Arliss of North Carolina, Joseph Arliss of Oklahoma, James (Marion) Arliss of Clyde, NY, Jerry (Donna) Arliss of Clyde, NY and Audie (Gloria) Arliss of Clifton Springs, NY, several nieces and nephews along with the staff and residents of the Mynderse IRA in Seneca Falls, N.Y. and the staff and participants of the Seneca-Cayuga A.R.C.
