Linda (DelPapa) Plate

Seneca Falls - Linda DelPapa Plate, 50, of South St., Seneca Falls, NY, died Sunday (July 21, 2013) at F.F. Thompson Hospital, Canandaigua, NY as a result of injuries she received in a motorcycle accident in the Town of Hopewell. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Thursday (July 25) from 4 - 7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday (July 26) at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor. Burial will be in Springbrook Cemetery, Seneca Falls. If desired, contributions may be made to Second Chance Dog Rescue, 804 Stone Church Rd., Waterloo, NY 13165 or to Beverly Animal Shelter, River Rd., Waterloo, NY 13165. Linda was born in Germany on February 26, 1963 the daughter of Joseph R. and the late Karin Kamuff DelPapa. She had resided most of her life in Seneca Falls and was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls. She had been employed by the Seneca Falls Central School System as a Teacher's Aide and had worked for the former I.G.A. of Seneca Falls as a cake decorator. She was a member of the Patriot Guard Motorcycle group. She loved motorcycling, collecting mice figurines, & working on jigsaw puzzles. Linda had a very deep love for animals, especially her dogs, Nikki, Bandit, Haley, and Taz. She is survived by: Her husband, Robert Plate of Seneca Falls, whom she married on May 8, 1982 1 daughter - Brandy Plate - Seneca Falls, NY 1 son - Robert Plate II - Seneca Falls, NY Her grandson - Andrew Bishop Her father, Joseph R. DelPapa - Seneca Falls, NY 1 brother - Joachim (Cindy) DelPapa - Charleston, West Virginia Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews She was predeceased by her mother, Karin DelPapa who died May 6, 2011.
