It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Lorraine A. Galletti on June 18, 2026 into the hands of her Lord and Savior. She was born in Seneca Falls, the youngest of thirteen siblings to the late Louis Fiorelli, Sr. and Mary (Pietrobuono) Fiorelli where she resided her entire life. Lorraine attended First Ward School and graduated from Mynderse Academy Class of 1953. On September 2, 1957, Lorraine married Frederick L. Galletti and together they raised four children and celebrated 67 years of marriage until Fred's passing on October 22, 2024.
Lorraine worked many years at Westcott Rule Company, Super Duper, Franklin's Furniture and Connie's Diner. She enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, bowling, and playing Bocce with family and in the leagues at the SMS. She was a member of the SMS Auxiliary.
Lorraine was also active in several ministries at St. Patrick's Church, where her faith and lifelong commitment to caring for others continued through service to her parish community.
She was known for her love of family gatherings and celebrations, and she was happiest when surrounded by those she loved.
In addition to her husband, Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, her first husband Angelo Charles Calabrese, her twin sister Gilda Roland, eleven other siblings, and many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her sons, Dr. Fred Galletti, III of Cicero, NY, Charles (Margaret) Galletti of LeRoy, NY, daughters Cindy (Kevin) Gladis of Dover, PA., Michele Galletti of North Syracuse, NY, 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Sylvia Manino of Seneca Falls, NY, Jeanette Dobie of East Williamson, NY, brother-in-law David Galletti of Cincinnati, Ohio, a special cousin and friend Ben Giovannetti of Seneca Falls, NY, and several nieces and nephews.
Per Lorraine's request, there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 11AM at St. Patrick's Church. Burial will follow at St. Columbkille Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Ruth and Megan for all they have done in caring for our mother over the past two years. The family also wishes to thank Dr. Philip Wirth and his staff for their dedication and compassionate care of our mother over the past several years and Huntington Living Center for their compassionate care for the past three months.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lorraine's memory to the American Lung Association, 55 West Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601.
